Relevance of National Education Policy - 2020 in Present Scenario

Abstract

The government of India launched the National Education Policy -2020 to promote education among people of India. The aims of NEP is to universalisation of education from pre-school to secondary level with 100 per cent Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in school education by 2030 and aims to raise GER in higher education to 50 per cent by 2025. The NEP-2020 has more positives than negatives. However, it is only after the execution that the people will finally be able to judge its effectiveness.
