Abstract

The main river that runs along a significant portion of the eastern region of Uttar Pradesh is the Ami River. The river supports not only the aquatic flora and fauna but also the inhabitants of the surrounding area, particularly Khalilabad, Sant Kabir Nagar, district Uttar Pradesh. A significant increase in industrial development, Indian GDP growth, and economic expansion is provided by the GIDA group of industries. However, in recent years it has been clear that this river has a significant amount of irreversible pollution. The current study's objective was to assess and monitor the water's quality in the context of its altered physical and chemical characteristics as well as changes in the hematological profile of fish Channa Punctatus inhabiting the river water
