Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the Indian economy. The study was conducted to analyze the impact of the pandemic on the Indian economy in the short and long term. The pandemic also had a global impact on the economy, with studies focusing on the impact of the pandemic before and after COVID-19 on the socio-economic impact worldwide. Recovery policies must trigger investment and promote a sustainable and resilient recovery to avoid social and economic damage far greater than that caused by COVID-19.
