      abstract = {This study emphasizes the benefits of using an Excel drop-down template for calculating grades. Through the use of surveys in the form of questionnaires, this study intends to evaluate the applicability and use of the Excel Drop Down template to students competing for academic awards. The likert scale and thematic analysis were also used in the data analysis to better comprehend the study participants' experiences, namely those of the second-year college students competing for Latin honors. The results also suggest that most students who used the Dropdown Excel template to compute their grades thought it was effective and useful because it made manual labor easier.},
