(Z)-4-Chloro-N?-(substituted benzlidenes) benzohydrazides 1(a-e) were blended by abridging 4-Chlorobenzohydrazide with appropriate aldehydes in the molar ratio of 1:1 in the methanol as solvent. For all the synthesized compounds, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra have been recorded. The synthesized amalgams were curtained for their anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial activities.
