Determination of Borehole Water Quality in Rivers State University

Abstract

Access to have a safe and potable water remains a significant challenge in many institutions of higher learning in Rivers State, Nigeria. Despite the importance of water for human consumption, recreation, and other uses, the provision of quality borehole water in these institutions has not been adequately handled. Hence, this research work to investigate the quality of borehole water in some specified institutions in River?s state, in other to curtail possible negative effects of contaminated waters in the sub-region which will affect man and its environment pursuant to the threats posted by inadequate and poor treatment of a borehole water.
