Abstract

Building Sustainable Community Networks: The Role of Women in Fostering Collaboration and Solidarity is a paper that explored the significant relevance of the fundamental aspects of how communities can thrive through cohesive efforts and the unique contributions women bring to this process. The subject of community networks and women's roles within them is extremely important. The backbone of grassroots movements is community networks, which act as enabling frameworks that enable localities to confront their particular problems and capitalize on their combined assets. This paper focused on the importance of creating and sustaining community networks to support grassroots efforts. It highlighted the pivotal role women play in fostering collaboration and solidarity within communities. The discussion included methods for building trust, encouraging participation, and ensuring the sustainability of these networks. The paper stressed the significance of identifying and involving important stakeholders, effective communication, frequent meetings, and common goals and visions while talking about tactics for creating and sustaining robust community networks. It also emphasized the need for good leadership and the importance of inclusive and participatory techniques that give all members of the community a sense of empowerment. In addition, that strategies should be developed to address the typical problems with maintaining community involvement by women, especially those in the urban areas such as fatigue, resource constraints, professional disagreements or clash of personalities, ego and self-esteem.
