The rapid evolution of telehealth technologies has demonstrated significant potential in improving healthcare access, particularly for underserved populations in rural and low-income areas. This paper explores the role of telehealth in bridging healthcare gaps, enhancing access to essential services, and reducing disparities in healthcare outcomes. It highlights key barriers such as limited internet infrastructure, healthcare provider shortages, and financial constraints, while also presenting innovative solutions that have been implemented to overcome these challenges. The research further discusses the effectiveness of telehealth in providing preventive care, mental health services, chronic disease management, and emergency healthcare, all of which are critical in rural and low-income settings. A combination of policy recommendations, technological advancements, and community partnerships is proposed to ensure sustainable growth and equitable access to telehealth services. Ultimately, this paper aims to offer a comprehensive analysis of telehealth’s impact on healthcare equity, with a focus on improving health outcomes for marginalized populations.
