The construction field, a cornerstone of human civilization, presents difficult management issues, particularly when it comes to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems. The purpose of this study was to identify and examine the essential factors and challenges in construction management that influence the success of MEPF building projects. The study investigated the major challenges to construction management success and aimed to identify the most effective construction management approaches for increasing production. The findings indicated that precise budget allocation, well-defined and realistic scheduling, and proactive risk management through engaged risk owners are critical. The research also stressed the need of good communication, safety priorities, and regulated scope revisions in reducing project delays and cost overruns. The study indicated that construction management success is dependent on a combination of strategic planning, resource management, communication, risk mitigation, and technology adaptability. Adopting a holistic approach that considers interdependencies between MEPF components, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, conducting life cycle cost analyses, implementing robust quality assurance measures, establishing performance metrics, proactively managing risks, and investing in continuous training and development are among the recommendations made to construction management firms specializing in MEPF projects. Addressing these crucial areas allows construction businesses to improve project performance, assure stakeholder satisfaction, and contribute to a more sustainable and efficient built environment.
