Cybersecurity Challenges of Multinational Enterprises involve patchwork legal systems, safeguarding sensitive data, and an onslaught of hitherto unknown foreign regulations. As they begin spreading their net internationally, localized legal constraints make it even worse, given the di?erences in data protection laws, privacy rules, and cybercrime regulations. Increased stringent regulations such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and data localization laws in China and Russia, plus an increase in cyber threats-from state-sponsored attacks through ransomware and inside job threats-compounds the complexity of global operations for businesses. This paper examines a host of di?erent cybersecurity risks facing multinational corporations, especially at the interfaces of varied legal frameworks, new technologies, and operations strategies. It examines how di?erent countries of the world have approached the cyber area, with particular emphasis on cross-border data protection, regulatory compliance, and increasing demand for robust cybersecurity in all industries. It has also recommended practical solutions such as Zero Trust Architecture implementation, enhanced threat detection systems, and education and awareness programs to establish cybersecurity resilience through employees. In the future, innovations in arti?cial intelligence, quantum computing, and even those within the blockchain will be able to reinvent the security model. Lastly, this paper looks at the social impact in the event of cybersecurity failure, focusing on the necessity for companies to strike a balance between compliance with the laws and their moral obligation of safeguarding digital rights in society and keeping public trust with the businesses.
