      abstract = {Women play a vital yet underrecognized role in India's economic landscape. This study explores the multifaceted contribution of women across agriculture, industry, services, and entrepreneurship. Despite significant progress, gender-based disparities remain prevalent. Through literature review, field interviews, and primary survey data, the report evaluates barriers to women's economic empowerment, including sociocultural norms, lack of education and financial access, and workplace safety. The study also examines government policies and suggests actionable strategies to bridge gender gaps and foster inclusive growth. Key findings highlight the need for systemic reforms, especially in education, employment policy, and gender-sensitive governance.},
