This study aims to analyze tourist perceptions, activity preferences, and estimate the economic value of Sadranan Beach tourism in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected through a survey of 100 respondents using accidental sampling, with analysis conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The results show that the perception of beach attractions is rated as good, while amenities and accessibility rated poor and need improvement. Ancillary services are considered adequate but still require improvements. The most preferred activities are water activities (20,88%) such as snorkeling, swimming, canoeing, and fishing followed by enjoying the scenery (19,70%) as for other activities according to the rank are playing in the sand (17.63%), photographys (16.24%), culinary (13.06%), sunbathing (7,32%) and finally camping (5.17%). These preferences align with the high scores given to physical and natural attractions. The economic value was estimated using the Willingness to Pay (WTP) approach, resulting in an average individual WTP of IDR 15.250 equivalent to USD 0,93 (1 USD = IDR 16.415,30). The estimated economic value of Sadranan Beach in 2024, with 82.303 tourists visiting, is estimated at IDR 1.255.120.750 equivalent to USD 76.460,70. The results suggest a strong correlation between visitor satisfaction and their willingness to contribute financially, reinforcing the importance of improving facilities and services to support sustainable tourism development.
