Millions of women worldwide experience in PCOD, is a prevalent endocrine ailment that typically impacts women of reproductive age. Hormonal imbalances that cause ovarian cysts, insulin resistance, skin conditions such as acne hirsutism, irregular periods of menstruation, and possible fertility problems are its defining features. Although the precise origin of PCOD is yet unknown, lifestyle and genetic factors are thought to be important. Reducing long-term consequences such type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and infertility needs early diagnosis and therapy through modifications to the lifestyle, medication therapies, and routine monitoring. In addition to stressing the value of early detection and awareness, this article emphasize the clinical features, probable causes, and treatment procedures for PCOD.
