Abstract

The rise of digital technology has significantly transformed consumer behavior, especially in retail and grocery sectors. This study explores how e-commerce platforms influence consumers' decision-making processes when purchasing grocery items in Kanpur. The analysis combines primary survey results with a thorough literature review to identify key factors such as convenience, delivery speed, product freshness, and security of transactions. Findings suggest that modern e-commerce platforms, when equipped with trustworthy systems and responsive customer service, can effectively reshape purchasing habits and increase customer satisfaction.
