Subject area: Management and Commerce · Area of research: Fintech
Abstract
This thesis explores the transformative impact of fintech innovations?such as mobile wallets, UPI, digital-only banks, and AI-driven services?on consumer banking behaviour and expectations. Using a mixed-method approach, it highlights increased convenience, speed, and accessibility, especially among younger users. However, challenges like digital illiteracy, fraud risk, and trust issues remain. The study recommends enhanced data security, better customer support, and inclusive design to promote sustainable and trustworthy fintech adoption.
