Abstract

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of Homeopathic treatment in reducing symptom severity of anxiety disorders, using the Beck Anxiety Inventory scale, and evaluating overall improvement in Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Materials and methods: A case was selected based on the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Anxiety severity was evaluated using the Beck Anxiety Inventory scale on a monthly basis. The patient's symptoms were repertorized, and the most appropriate Homeopathic similimum in 30C potency was prescribed. The patient was followed up for 8 months, and treatment outcomes were assessed using the Beck Anxiety Inventory scale. Case Summary: A case of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) was treated with individualized Homeopathic medicine, Argentum Nitricum, over a period of 8 months. The reduction in specific targeted symptoms demonstrated the efficacy of the Homeopathic treatment, leading to complete recovery of symptoms. The improvement in the case was assessed monthly using the Beck Anxiety Inventory scale score. Conclusion: The study highlights the beneficial role of individualized Homeopathic treatment in managing patients with Anxiety disorder, using Beck Anxiety Inventory scale.
