This paper explores the dual impact of quantum computing on cybersecurity, highlighting how Azure Quantum can be leveraged to address emerging challenges. We provide a clear explanation of quantum computing fundamentals, examine its risks to traditional encryption, and demonstrate how platforms like Azure Quantum enable organizations to prepare for a quantum-secure future.
