Abstract

The research project will examine how wireless networks of communication can be used to increase access to educational technology in both rural and urban settings. As a global trend toward digital learning equity, wireless options such as mesh and LPWAN systems connected to a 4G/5G network have been increasingly critical to closing the digital divide. Based on comparative studies of infrastructure implementation, their affordability, and resulting educational outcome, the studies identify specific trends between cities and their rural counterparts. The cities will have fiber-powered Wi-Fi and AI-enabled platforms that enable progressive learning. Rural areas, on the other hand, depend on more cost-effective and solar-powered solutions and ad hoc networks to solve the connectivity shortcomings. The use of case studies Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa reveal the innovative use of wireless technologies and emphasize the effects, which are the result of socio-economic, technical, and policy-based obstacles. The article highlights the use of predictive analytics and teacher training to maximize the results in knowledge acquisition. It provides an effective conclusion on policy recommendation, suggesting the use of public-private partnerships and infrastructure-first plans and localized research. In general, the role of wireless networks in enabling inclusive digital education is confirmed, especially when it is adapted to the specific needs of the urban and rural school environment.
