Abstract
Sustainability is a critical global concern that requires a shift in human behavior toward environmentally and socially responsible practices. Education and awareness are key drivers in fostering sustainable behavior by equipping individuals with the knowledge, values, and motivation necessary for positive change. This chapter explores the role of education in promoting sustainability, the impact of awareness campaigns, and effective strategies for integrating sustainability into educational curricula and community programs. It also discusses the challenges faced in promoting sustainable behavior and offers solutions to enhance the effectiveness of education and awareness initiatives. By fostering a culture of sustainability through education and engagement, individuals and communities can contribute to a more sustainable future.
