An Educational Approach to Green Governance for Sustainable Development of Janakpurdham

Abstract
Green governance, a policy for a lifeline of healthy future, is a concept related to balancing human life, nature and natural resources. The study exclusively focuses on essentiality of green governance for sustainable development of this region, the region of Janakpurdham. Apart from some concerns of green governance, its one of the concern is how to teach the students,the main change agents of society, to internalize the concept of green culture for saver future. The purposes of the study were to raise awareness among school and college graduates. Hence, the study was conducted as a project work through workshop, cleanliness campaign, and oratory contest. It also included an expert to get insights into indispensability of green governance for healthy human life and economic prosperity, its feasibility, the role of concerned stakeholders, and its impacts on society. The study has recommended to teach the young generation the concept of green culture both for healthy life and economic prosperity.
