The paper discusses the history of science education in Nigeria, its expansion and curriculum as well as its relevance in achieving Nigeria?s aspirations in the development of science and technology. The paper concludes that, with effective science education teachers and some other recommendations made, Nigeria can achieve its goals in science and technology development.},
