In recent years, YouTube has become one of the most used platforms for self-learning across the world. Students today are no longer limited to textbooks or classroom lectures; they actively use digital platforms to improve their knowledge. Among these, YouTube stands out because it is free, visual, and available anytime. This paper studies how students in Pune, a major educational hub of India, are using YouTube for technical self-learning. Pune is often called the ?Oxford of the East? because of its many universities, colleges, and IT companies. The research highlights how YouTube helps students in technical education by providing tutorials, experiments, and real-world demonstrations. At the same time, it also looks at the problems students face, such as distractions, lack of quality control, and over-dependence. The study concludes that YouTube is a very powerful tool for students in Pune, but it must be used carefully with proper guidance.
