Abstract

The global tourism landscape has undergone profound transformation over the last decade, driven by digitalization, socio-cultural shifts, and unprecedented disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes have produced new traveler behaviors that challenge traditional tourism models. This review synthesizes recent trends, including the rise of digital nomadism, preference for sustainable and regenerative travel, heightened demand for personalization, greater reliance on digital technologies, and evolving health-safety consciousness. The paper concludes with implications for tourism stakeholders and areas for future research.
