This paper explores the applications, challenges, and future prospects of DIP in healthcare, emphasizing its impact on improving accuracy and efficiency. It also highlights the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in advancing image analysis, segmentation, and interpretation. Furthermore, this paper discusses how emerging technologies, such as edge computing and cloud integration, are shaping the future of digital image processing in healthcare.
