A Vehicle-Based Elephant Detection and Alert System is designed to detect elephant intrusions in areas where villages and forests intersect. The roaming vehicle is equipped with a RADAR, Camera, PIR Sensor, Thermal Sensor, GPS Sensor, and GSM Module. Images of elephants are detected and alerts are transmitted to forest officers and villagers in real time. The thermal sensor enables detection even in complete darkness and foggy environments. The vehicle is powered by solar energy (renewable resources), and the alert message includes the GPS coordinates of the vehicle for precise and easy elephant localization. This system significantly reduces human-elephant conflicts by providing an early warning mechanism through continuous patrolling of forest-village boundary zones.
