Abstract

A robo advisor is a digital financial service platform that uses algorithms and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics to provide automated investment advice and portfolio management with minimal human intervention. These systems analyze user inputs such as financial goals, risk tolerance, income, and investment horizon to create and manage a diversified portfolio. Robo advisors have gained popularity due to their low cost, accessibility, and ease of use compared to traditional financial advisors. They employ strategies like asset allocation, rebalancing, and tax optimization to maximize returns while minimizing risks. By leveraging technology, robo advisors eliminate emotional biases in decision-making and ensure consistent, data-driven investment strategies. This concept represents a significant transformation in the financial services industry, making wealth management more inclusive and efficient. However, challenges such as limited personalization, lack of human judgment in complex situations, and dependence on algorithms still exist. In conclusion, robo advisors are reshaping the future of investment management by combining financial expertise with technological innovation, offering a scalable and user-friendly solution for modern investors.
