Fire accidents in residential buildings pose a significant threat, particularly in developing countries like India, where negligence and the failure to follow strict safety codes result in substantial loss of life and property damage. This project focuses on performing a comprehensive Fire Risk Analysis (FRA) of residential buildings by identifying and categorizing potential incidents into "scenario clusters". The study systematically identifies key risk factors such as building materials, design, and occupant behavior to evaluate fire risk levels. By examining specific scenarios—including electrical, cooking-related, and heating equipment fires—the project aims to assess the likelihood, severity, and potential spread of fire. Ultimately, the research provides actionable recommendations for improving fire prevention, protection, and emergency preparedness to create safer living environments.
