Abstract
Lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and hypertension are rapidly increasing worldwide due to unhealthy behaviors and environmental changes. Market segmentation and targeting strategies have emerged as essential tools in healthcare marketing and public health interventions to effectively address these conditions. This review explores various segmentation approaches, targeting frameworks, and strategic applications in managing lifestyle diseases. It highlights the role of demographic, psychographic, behavioral, and data-driven segmentation techniques, along with modern digital targeting strategies. The study concludes that tailored interventions significantly enhance healthcare outcomes and patient engagement.
