Multi – Dimensional Essentials in School Administration and Supervision

Abstract
This research determined the leadership characteristics, management skills and quality of work among the schools administrators of Cebu Division, Cebu as bases for a proposed managerial development plan. The research employed descriptive design using the quantitative and qualitative approach. This frequency distribution research makes use of quantitative and qualitative approach and interview method in qualitative approach. There were five (5) parts of the research questionnaire in the study to determine the profile of all employees with their levels of leadership characteristics, management skills, and quality of work. There is a significant relationship between identified profile and management level skill, since, the profile affects the skill of managing people in workplace. Likewise, between identified profile and level of quality of work, the profile affects the level of quality of work of administrators, since, the quality of work is always affected by one’s personal capability. On the basis of the findings, a conclusion is drawn. The administrator’s profile affects the management level skills and quality of work in the workplace. It is recommended that the administrator’s professional enhancement should be given utmost preferential attention and managerial development plan will be implemented.
