Abstract

This research paper delves into the intricate relationship between computer psychology and computer science. Traditionally regarded as distinct realms, these fields exhibit significant interconnectedness. Psychological principles are essential for addressing computer-related challenges, and similarly, computer science offers valuable tools for psychological inquiries. This article thoroughly examines the merging of computer science and psychology, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), human-computer interaction (HCI), cognitive science, and behavioral informatics. By reviewing relevant literature, we highlight how these domains complement each other, while also identifying their methodological and practical differences. The discussion concludes with insights on the future of interdisciplinary research and its ramifications for both fields.
