      abstract = {Cracked heels (heel fissures) are a common dermatological condition characterized by dryness, thickened skin, pain, and sometimes bleeding, particularly affecting the plantar surface of the feet. This condition is often caused by excessive dryness, prolonged standing, lack of proper foot care, climatic conditions, and certain systemic disorders. If left untreated, cracked heels may lead to infections and significant discomfort, negatively affecting quality of life.
