Assessing the influence of Business Ecosystem on Employees’ Efficiency within Sub-national Revenue Services in South-South Nigeria

Abstract
The study was conducted to assess the influence of business ecosystem on Employees’ Efficiency within Sub-national Revenue Services in South-South Nigeria. Cross-sectional survey research design was employed for the study. Population for this study comprised 656 in-person participants who were employees from various Sub-national Revenue Services who are tax professionals registered with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Sample size was derived using Krejcie and Morgan formula and it was given as 242. Instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. Simple linear regression was employed in the analysis of the study. Findings revealed that inclusivity and enterprise spirit had a positive significant influence of employees’ efficiency within sub-national revenue services in south-south, Nigeria. As recommendations, government and management of sub-national internal revenue services in South-south Nigeria should foster an inclusive work culture that promotes diversity, collaboration, and equal participation. Also, they can encourage a strong enterprise spirit by promoting innovation, initiative, and result-oriented thinking among employees.
