Subject area: Management and Commerce  ·  Area of research: Mobile Banking Transaction

Abstract

This study examines the impact of mobile banking on transactions at India Post Payments Bank (IPPB). The rapid growth of digital banking has transformed the way customers access banking services, making transactions faster, more convenient, and easily accessible. IPPB has played an important role in promoting financial inclusion by providing digital banking services to both urban and rural customers through its extensive postal network. The study focuses on understanding customer usage, satisfaction, convenience, security, and the overall effectiveness of IPPB's mobile banking services. The study is based on primary data collected through a structured questionnaire from 64 respondents. The findings indicate that most customers prefer mobile banking for balance enquiries, fund transfers, bill payments, and other daily banking activities. Mobile banking has reduced branch visits, improved transaction speed, and increased customer satisfaction. The study concludes that mobile banking has positively influenced IPPB transactions and recommends continuous improvements in digital security, customer awareness, and service quality to enhance user experience.
