Abstract

Computerized Alert generating transport system is designed to meet the needs to produce a system that will eradicate the problems of manual or handwritten information about allocations of passenger, state of vehicles and improve the services through the use of computer. The methods of data collection adopted were through personal interview, questionnaires and research from magazine. The programming language and the design tools used were Visual Basic .NET, MySQL, data flow diagram and flowchart while Structured system analysis design methodology (SSADM) and Object oriented analysis and design methodology (OOADM) were implemented. This research was able to produce an efficient and effective system that reduces the huge paperwork and enhances security. This system will have a great effect on making the transport management system easier in the quality of care and to meet transport expectation.
