Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an important part of Human Resource Management (HRM) and is changing the way organizations manage their employees. AI-based tools can help HR departments with recruitment, employee data analysis, performance evaluation, training, workforce planning, and employee engagement. In the area of workforce diversity, AI can support organizations in identifying gaps in employee representation, improving recruitment practices, providing equal opportunities for career development, and understanding the experiences of employees from different backgrounds. This study examines how AI can be used to support workforce diversity management and how its use may contribute to better organizational outcomes. It mainly focuses on the use of AI in recruitment and selection, workforce diversity analysis, performance management, employee training and development, career progression, and employee engagement. Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly important in Human Resource Management, particularly in workforce diversity and inclusion. However, more empirical research is needed to understand how AI is actually being used in organizations and how it affects diversity-related HR practices. There is also a need to examine issues such as fairness, algorithmic bias, transparency, and employee trust in AI-based HR decisions. Therefore, studying selected IT companies in Bengaluru can provide useful insights into the role of AI in workforce diversity management and its influence on employees and organizational practices.
