AnatoPM™ – The Human Anatomy Framework for Project Integration: A Metaphorical Model for Organizational Synergy
Abstract
This conceptual paper introduces AnatoPM™, a metaphorical framework that maps organizational departments to human anatomy, providing a vivid and intuitive model for understanding interdepartmental integration in project management. Just as the human body functions through the coordinated efforts of specialized systems, organizational success depends on seamless communication and cooperation among departments. The framework highlights how dysfunction in one "organ" (department) can affect the entire organizational "body," promoting a systems-thinking approach to project integration and strategic alignment.
