Abstract

Garbage Management is one of the serious problems faced by the developing Countries. People are active in maintaining the cleanliness. Government of India has initiated to make a movement on clean India or Swatch Bharat.There is need for an alternative method for managing the Garbage collected on the streets. The objective of this project is to reduce the Human Effort of a Garbage Management. We have built a system to notify the Garbage collector or to Corporation office regarding the level of garbage and the could take the necessary action to clean the overload garbage. To make Garbage ?smart?, we had used Sensors and Electronic Components. The IOT based Texas Instrument?s CC3200 Launchpad XL board is used. The CC3200 is used to create application based IOT with ARM Cortex-M4 MCU micro controller with single IC. The ultrasonic sensor is used to measure the level of Garbage, the three level (low, medium, full) of Garbage is indicated on the Webserver and also through SMS a notification is sent to the Garbage Collector. By using this system will help to clean the Garbage in Better Way, so there is no need to check the bins manually.
