The world is shifting to more environmentally friendly and sustainable alternatives such as biodiesel and renewable diesel, natural gas, battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and so on. Changing the fuel in transportation machinery will be a significant change and a significant step toward reducing carbon footprints. The presentation of a new study on energy balances at the 14th Congress of the World Energy Conference on World energy perspectives 2000-2020 in relation to India's New Delhi Conference in 1983 was seen as a watershed moment.
