Electrical Vehicle Charging Slot Booking Application Using Python, Flask, and MySQL

Abstract
The rapid rise in electric vehicle (EV) usage has underscored the need for efficient charging infrastructure. This paper presents an Electrical Vehicle Charging Slot Booking Application developed to streamline slot reservation using Python, Flask, and MySQL. The system enables users to register, view real-time slot availability, and book charging slots via a web interface, addressing challenges like overbooking and delays. Designed with a client-server architecture, Flask manages backend operations while MySQL ensures robust data storage. Testing revealed a 95% booking success rate and an average response time of 1.8 seconds, affirming its reliability. This solution enhances user convenience and station efficiency, contributing to sustainable transportation by improving EV charging access.
