This paper analyses the innovative role of AI in rejuvenating the public sector. It assesses how the AI technologies boost efficiency, decision-making, and service provision in the different governmental tasks. The research assesses opportunities, for example, predictive analytics and automation, as well as risks (ethical issues, bias, and data privacy). It also identifies key policy imperatives for responsible adoption of AI, including governance, transparency as well as accountability. With a multidisciplinary perspective, the paper espouses the need for strategic frameworks that strive to harmonize innovation with ethical protections to view AI as a force behind public sector rejuvenation and better citizen satisfactions.
