Relationship between Democratic Leadership Characteristics and Student Academic Performance at Holy Angel University

Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between democratic leadership characteristics and student academic performance at Holy Angel University. Grounded in the theory that leadership styles influence educational outcomes, the research focuses on how democratic leadership?characterized by participatory decision-making, open communication, and inclusive practices?affects student performance. Using quantitative methods and statistical analysis, data were collected from both teachers and students to assess perceptions of leadership behaviors and corresponding academic results. Findings suggest a positive correlation between democratic leadership characteristics and student academic performance, highlighting the value of inclusive and collaborative leadership in educational settings. The study underscores the importance of fostering democratic environments to enhance student success and institutional effectiveness.
