      abstract = {This study focus to examine the relationship between creativity and academic performance among NCEI early childhood care education students of Kano state. Correlation research design was employed to discover the relationships creativity and academic performance among NCEI early childhood care education students of Kano state. The population of the study consist of NCE1 early childhood care education students of Kano State. Proportionate Sampling Technique was employed to select (217) students. ECCE Student?s Cumulative Grade Point (CGPA) Information Format (SCIF) and also adopted Nicolas Holt Creativity Test (NHCT). The instrument is reliable at r=0.88. In this study, Descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation are used to answer research question one and inferential statistics of Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) is also used to test the two hypotheses of the study at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that there is no significant relationship between creativity and academic achievement of Early Child Care Education Students of Kano state. There across gender in the relationship between creativity and academic performance among students of early child care education in Kano state. The paper recommends among others that early child care education students of tertiary institution should be supported and encourages boosting their academic morale to compute with their creative ability.},
