Subject area: Science,Engineering and Technology  ·  Area of research: Education

Abstract

This action research project investigated the impact of implementing experiential learning activities in mathematics classes for grades 6-8 at Shambhu Dayal Global School. The research aimed to determine how hands-on, real-world learning experiences affect student engagement, conceptual understanding, and application of mathematical principles. Results indicate significant improvements in student engagement, deeper conceptual understanding, and enhanced ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations. This report details the research process, findings, and recommendations for future practice.
