Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the current staffing and selection processes in the IT industry, concentrating on pinpointing various recruitment sources and methods within IT companies. The goal is to enhance recruitment and selection strategies, thereby improving job satisfaction, productivity, and overall employee efficiency in the sector. The primary objective of this paper is to identify standard practices organizations employ to recruit and select personnel. Additionally, the study aims to analyze how these recruitment and selection methods influence organizational outcomes and offer recommendations that can assist. The research paper aspires to develop a more advanced recruitment strategy for IT companies through various approaches, including technology assessment and trends from recruitment portals. The techniques include strategies like online hiring, organizing job fairs, university recruitment, and enhancing the employee referral program. Methodology: This study employs a predictive approach to gather, analyze, and present information, tackle the issue, and meet the secondary objective. The methodology entails collecting data through secondary sources, including research articles, online databases, files, journals, and books. Essential information was gathered through a survey conducted across different departments of the company, including journals, books, articles, and other research reports. Findings: The findings indicate that analytical methods aid in pinpointing inefficiencies within the hiring process, allowing for the optimization of targeted activities. AI technologies offer predictive analytics, improving both the quality and speed of decision-making. Research has shown that recruitment powered by AI enhances employee performance and greatly increases hiring efficiency. Conclusion: The rapid progression of digital technology, organizations are leaning more and more on e-recruitment strategies to discover and recruit top talents. Recruitment strategies such as social media, online job portals, and artificial intelligence-based recruitment tools play a key role in the emergence of this new trend of recruitment globally. e-recruitment has developed into an important part of recruitment practices of companies across the globe Minimization of costs and time, facilitated access to greater pools of applicants (Placeholder1)some issues were examined in the extensive literature review process which are causing the issues in smooth execution of recruitment practices.
